LDAP credential disclosure via reconfigurable server settings
Published Apr 27, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information disclosure in Nexus Repository Manager 2.x before 2.14.17 or 3.x before 3.22.1 allows attackers to read LDAP credentials. The LDAP server configuration flow returns the configured system username and password in cleartext after an administrator reconfigures the server. Administrative access and a configured LDAP system account are required, and exposure is limited to that account's stored credentials.
