Use-after-free in Qualcomm Snapdragon Display components allows local users to access freed memory through concurrent MSM ioctl event operations. The MSM ioctl event path can deregister an event while another path is registering it, freeing an object that remains in use. Local execution and successful race timing are required; Qualcomm has not published whether exploitation causes a crash, code execution, or data access.
