Service interruption via repeated RTT request rejection

Uncontrolled resource consumption in Qualcomm Snapdragon WLAN allows remote attackers to interrupt service through RTT measurement traffic. The RTT responder consistently rejects every fine timing measurement request by returning an FTM1 frame whose FTM parameter IE carries failure status. No privileges or user interaction are required, and the published record limits the consequence to loss of availability without specifying whether the device hangs, crashes, or reboots.
