Device reset via unsupported SIB scheduling

Improper input validation in Qualcomm Snapdragon Auto and Snapdragon Mobile allows remote attackers to reset a device via crafted LTE SIB1 data. The LTE decoder processes a SIB1 that schedules unsupported system information blocks instead of rejecting the unsupported schedule, causing the user equipment to reset. No privileges or user interaction are required, but the attacker must deliver the crafted cellular data to the target; the documented consequence is a reset and service interruption.
