CVE-2020-11257

TrustZone memory corruption via unvalidated pointers

Published Jun 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon WIN TZ firmware allows local users to corrupt TrustZone memory through pointer arguments. The TrustZone BSP accepts pointer arguments without validating whether their offsets remain within the intended memory range. Local access is required; Qualcomm does not disclose whether corruption produces a crash, data access, or code execution.
