CVE-2020-11126Network attack vector

Wireless service interruption via unchecked frame lengths

Published Jun 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

A buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon WLAN firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt wireless service with a crafted WLAN frame. The WLAN frame parser reads beyond its buffer because it fails to validate the frame body and header lengths before reading frame data. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published impact is limited to service interruption.
