Stored XSS via unsanitized session view type
Published Mar 30, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in Responsive Filemanager 9.14.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via a crafted view request. The view action in ajax_calls.php copies the unsanitized type parameter into the session view_type value, which dialog.php later renders without escaping. A user must load the attacker's iframe sequence or revisit dialog.php in the poisoned session, enabling script execution with that page's origin.
