CVE-2020-1108Network attack vector

Unauthenticated web application service interruption

Published May 21, 2020 · Updated Aug 19, 2026

Denial of service in Microsoft .NET Core and .NET Framework allows remote attackers to interrupt web applications with crafted requests. Microsoft discloses only improper web-request handling and does not identify the parsing locus or incorrect operation performed on request data. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is loss of application availability rather than data access or modification.
