HTTP request manipulation via unescaped URI characters

CRLF injection in httplib2 before 0.18.0 allows attackers to alter HTTP requests or send hidden requests via a crafted URI. The Http.request() path passed spaces, carriage returns, and line feeds through URI normalization without percent-encoding them, allowing injected bytes to reshape the request line and headers. Exploitation requires consuming software to concatenate attacker-controlled text into the URI; the resulting requests are sent to the selected server.
