CVE-2020-11060Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Remote code execution via arbitrary backup path

Published May 12, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Remote code execution in GLPI before 9.4.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute system commands through crafted database backups. The front/backup.php handler accepts an arbitrary output path and compresses attacker-controlled WiFi data into a PHP/gzip polyglot in the webroot. A practical attack requires Maintenance privileges and permission to add WiFi networks; unauthenticated CSRF exploitation remains theoretical.
