Information disclosure via cross-site search result oracle

Cross-site search in Microsoft SharePoint Server allows remote attackers to infer facts about documents through a logged-in user's browser. Certain search modes let a malicious page induce authenticated queries and observe whether each query returns results, without reading the results or documents. Exploitation requires a victim already authenticated to the affected SharePoint site to visit attacker-controlled content; exposure is limited to the result-presence oracle.
