Authentication bypass in Suculent THiNX Device API before 2.5.0 allows remote attackers to create device identities via spoofed MAC registration. The initial registration path accepts requests without a UDID and trusts a supplied MAC address, allowing a duplicate MAC to receive a new UDID. No credentials are required for that request; duplicate identities can undermine device authentication and ownership checks, while the advisory states that the full impact remains under review.
