Browser script execution via unfiltered page parameter
Published May 27, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in the Centreon service-monitoring widget allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser via a crafted URL. The service-monitoring/src/index.php endpoint reflects the unfiltered page query parameter into executable client-side code. Exploitation requires a user to follow the forged link; successful script execution can access Centreon session data in the same origin.
