Type confusion in Foxit PhantomPDF 9.7.0.29478 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a malicious page or file. The GetFieldValue command in the communication API fails to validate supplied data, producing a type-confusion condition that runs code in the current process. Exploitation requires a target user to open a malicious file or visit a malicious page; successful execution inherits the client process context.
