Unauthenticated package and service enumeration via menu
Published Mar 23, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information disclosure in OpenWrt LuCI git-20.x allows remote attackers to enumerate installed packages and services without authentication. The LuCI menu renderer exposes administration entries to logged-out requests, revealing enabled package and service names. OpenWrt disputes the security significance because the same information is obtainable by other means when LuCI is already reachable without authentication.
