Arbitrary memory mapping via unrestricted TEE operation
Published Mar 24, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Memory-mapping flaw in Samsung mobile TEE on Android 8.x through 10.0 allows remote attackers to map arbitrary memory. The TEE accepts memory-mapping operations without enforcing restrictions that confine the requested mapping. NVD models unauthenticated network reachability, but Samsung does not disclose the affected interface or whether mapped memory can be read, written, or executed.
