Authenticated XSS via LDAP username parameter

Cross-site scripting in Nagios XI 5.6.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via the LDAP integration username parameter. The LDAP/AD integration renders attacker-controlled username input without adequate output encoding, placing script in an administrator's browser. Exploitation requires authenticated administrator access and browser interaction; the demonstrated consequence is script execution in that user's session.
