Code execution in lix through 15.8.7 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to redirect HTTP package downloads to malicious content. The download path accepts plain HTTP, follows attacker-modified Location headers, and places the resulting executable content in the postDownload field for execution. Exploitation requires a privileged network position during package installation and grants code execution in the installing user's context.
