CVE-2020-10734

Forced logout via missing OIDC confirmation

Published Feb 11, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Cross-site request forgery in Keycloak before 18.0.0 allows attackers to terminate authenticated users' OIDC sessions. The browser logout handler accepts a request without an id_token_hint and ends the active session instead of requiring logout confirmation. An authenticated browser session must be active, and the resulting impact is limited to forced logout and service interruption for that user.
