Incorrect privilege assignment in Automation Broker APB 2.0.4-1 and earlier allows local users to gain root inside its container. The image Dockerfile writes the rule ALL ALL=NOPASSWD: ALL to /etc/sudoers.d/usermod, granting every container user passwordless execution as root. Exploitation requires access as a non-root user in the running APB container; the resulting root access permits reading or changing container data and interrupting its services.
