Insufficiently protected credentials in Red Hat Satellite foreman-installer 1.24.1.22 allow local users with root-level privileges to read the Candlepin password. During satellite-installer updates, installer output exposes the Candlepin password in plaintext instead of protecting it. Root-level access is required, and the impact is disclosure of a credential that can enable access to Satellite services.
