Data disclosure via default external entity resolution

XXE in dom4j before 2.0.3 and 2.1.0 through 2.1.2 allows attackers to read local data through crafted XML external entities. SAXReader delegates to the system XMLReader with its default features, leaving external DTD loading and external entity resolution enabled. Exploitation requires a consuming application to parse attacker-controlled XML without overriding those defaults, permitting local-file disclosure or server-side requests.
