Kiosk escape in BD Pyxis MedStation ES System and Pyxis Anesthesia Station ES 1.6.1 allows physically proximate attackers to access sensitive data. BD has not disclosed which input handler or validation failure lets the restricted desktop process crafted input and exit kiosk mode. Physical access is required; escape exposes local tools that can view or modify sensitive data and can interrupt the device.
