API-key disclosure via untrusted CORS origin
Published Mar 15, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information disclosure in Walmart Labs Concord before 1.44.0 allows remote attackers to read API keys through cross-origin requests. The server accepts untrusted Origin values for Access-Control-Allow-Origin, allowing browser scripts to read /api/v1/apikey responses. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to visit attacker-controlled content, after which credentials accompany the cross-origin request and expose keys plus host, node, API, and username-reference data.
