Improper access control in Telegram for Android 5.12 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to read and reply to messages. With Show Popup enabled, notification popups expose message content and reply controls without enforcing the application passcode. Exploitation requires physical proximity to an unlocked Android device with Show Popup enabled and permits message access without opening Telegram.
