Authentication bypass in GitLab 12.8.0 through 12.8.5 allows remote attackers to register accounts outside permitted email domains. Public records do not identify the registration code locus or explain which validation step fails to enforce the configured domain restriction. Sign-up must be enabled, and the bypass lasts only during the two-day grace period while the supplied email address remains unconfirmed.
