Authenticated command execution via RPC parameter injection

Command injection in iCatch DVR firmware before 20200103 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through an RPC request. The RPC handler passes a caller-controlled function parameter into command execution without validating or neutralizing injected command syntax. A valid device password is required, and successful exploitation grants control of the DVR that can be used to launch DDoS traffic.
