Unauthenticated command execution via unchecked file parameter
Published Apr 15, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
OS command injection in affected HGiga C&Cm@il CCMAILQ and CCMAILN releases allows remote attackers to execute commands via a crafted URL. The unauthenticated /EIP/oll/admin/cfg_download.php endpoint passes its file parameter into an operating-system command without neutralizing command syntax. Any network client that can reach this administrator endpoint can execute arbitrary commands and upload a web shell, compromising the mail server.
