Published Mar 12, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
CSRF in admin/manage-comments.php in Chadha PHPKB Standard Multi-Language 9 allows remote attackers to disapprove comments. The endpoint accepts GET requests with attacker-supplied cid and action=disapprove values and changes state without anti-CSRF validation. Exploitation requires a logged-in superuser to visit attacker-controlled content, and the resulting action changes only the targeted comment's approval state.
