Admin-session script execution via reflected sort parameter
Published Mar 12, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in PHPKB Standard Multi-Language 9 allows remote authenticated users to run script via the sort parameter. The admin/manage-fields.php page reflects the sort value into generated HTML without neutralizing attacker-supplied markup. A Superuser session must open the crafted custom-fields URL, limiting the consequence to script execution in that privileged browser context.
