Authenticated script execution via reflected GET parameter
Published Mar 12, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in PHPKB Standard Multi-Language 9 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a crafted edit-news request. The admin/edit-news.php page reflects the p GET parameter into its HTML response without neutralizing script-capable input. An authenticated administrator must submit or open the crafted request, and the payload runs in that administrator's browser under the application's origin.
