Authenticated script execution via unescaped URI suffix
Published Mar 12, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in Chadha PHPKB Standard Multi-Language 9 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted admin URL. The URI handling in admin/header.php sends the question-mark suffix of a request for admin/trash-box.php into the response without neutralizing script or HTML. Reaching the flaw requires administrative privileges and victim interaction, and injected script executes in the affected page’s browser context.
