Script execution via unneutralized glossary URI
Published Mar 12, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in Chadha PHPKB Standard Multi-Language 9 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a crafted glossary URL. The shared admin/header.php URI handler reflects content placed after a question mark in admin/manage-glossary.php without neutralizing it for HTML output. An authenticated administrator must cause a victim to follow the crafted URL; script then runs in that victim's PHPKB origin and can read or alter page data.
