Administrator script execution via unescaped URI suffix
Published Mar 12, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in Chadha PHPKB Standard Multi-Language 9 allows remote authenticated users to run script via a crafted admin URI. admin/header.php reflects the query-string suffix following a question mark into admin/edit-template.php output without neutralizing HTML or script. A victim must be authenticated to the administrative interface and follow the crafted URI; the payload then runs in that administrator's browser context.
