SQL injection via improper value escaping

SQL injection in RMySQL 0.10.19 and earlier allows attackers to execute attacker-controlled MySQL syntax through quoted values. The dbQuoteString and dbQuoteLiteral methods improperly escape untrusted character data, allowing SQL syntax to remain in generated statements. Exploitation requires an application to quote attacker-controlled values and execute the result, permitting database reads or writes within that application's database privileges.
