Password disclosure via cleartext Basic authentication

Cleartext credential transmission in Technicolor TC7337NET 08.89.17.23.03 allows remote attackers to recover passwords from network traffic. The device sends the HTTP Basic Authorization header over cleartext HTTP, exposing the carried password to packet capture. An attacker must be able to observe traffic between a management client and the device; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of transmitted passwords.
