CVE-2020-10370Public exploit

Bluetooth outage via cross-core coexistence abuse

Published Nov 10, 2024 · Updated Jan 27, 2025

Denial of service in Cypress and Broadcom CYW43455 Bluetooth firmware allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt Bluetooth via Spectra. The vulnerable firmware lets one wireless core abuse the chip's coexistence coordination so the other core cannot transmit, but public sources do not identify the exact firmware routine or exchange. Exploitation requires Bluetooth radio proximity and absence of the January 26, 2021 firmware update; the demonstrated consequence is a Bluetooth outage rather than persistent device failure.
