CVE-2020-10368

Wi-Fi memory disclosure via Bluetooth RAM mapping

Published Nov 10, 2024 · Updated Nov 26, 2024

Memory disclosure in certain Cypress and Broadcom Wireless Combo chips allows attackers controlling Bluetooth firmware to read Wi-Fi RAM. A Bluetooth core reads the Wi-Fi memory mapping at Bluetooth address 0x680000, corresponding to Wi-Fi address 0x180000, where packet buffers begin. Exploitation requires control of the Bluetooth core and an affected chip without the January 2021 firmware update; exposed data is limited to Wi-Fi memory contents.
