CVE-2020-10367

Cross-core memory access via shared coexistence RAM

Published Nov 10, 2024 · Updated Nov 26, 2024

Memory-isolation failure in certain Cypress and Broadcom Wireless Combo chips allows attackers to access another core’s memory via Spectra. The proprietary coexistence interface exposes a shared RAM region to the separate Bluetooth and Wi-Fi processor cores without enforcing a security boundary. Exploitation requires control of one wireless core and allows access to memory belonging to the other core.
