CVE-2020-10269

Restricted network access via shared Wi-Fi credentials

Published Jun 24, 2020 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Hard-coded credentials in Mobile Industrial Robots A/S MiR100 2.8.1.1 and earlier allow physically proximate attackers to access its internal network. The robot-hosted wireless interface starts in access-point mode with a predictable SSID and a shared password published in prior manuals. The interface is intended only for initial setup; additional flaws are required for robot control, service interruption, or data exfiltration.
