CVE-2020-10264

Unauthenticated robot data access via RTDE

Published Apr 6, 2020 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Missing authentication in Universal Robots CB3 3.3 and later and e-Series 5.0 and later allows remote attackers to read RTDE robot data. The controller's RTDE service on TCP port 30004 accepts clients without verifying an identity and streams requested status, I/O, and register fields. Adjacent-network access is required; the source describes write access as authenticated, so only unauthenticated disclosure is clearly established.
