Inadequate encryption strength in JPaseto before 0.3.0 allows remote attackers to compromise the confidentiality of v2.local tokens. The v2.local token-generation path produces weak hashes, but the upstream release does not identify the faulty function or operation. The condition requires an application to generate v2.local tokens, exposing protected token contents without altering tokens or interrupting service.
