Unauthenticated SQL injection via dashboard search term
Published Mar 16, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in CWP CentOS Web Panel for CentOS 6 and 7 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries through the term parameter. The dashboard search handler in /cwp_{SESSION_HASH}/admin/loader_ajax.php incorporates term into an SQL query without neutralizing quote syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required; the public exploit demonstrates both error-based and time-based query execution.
