Database disclosure via unvalidated searchColumn parameter
Published Mar 7, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in rConfig 3.9.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to read database data through the web interface. commands.inc.php places the searchColumn value into a SQL query without validation, allowing a crafted UNION clause to return selected rows. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published exploit demonstrates disclosure of user hashes and stored device credentials.
