Authenticated remote code execution
Published Apr 15, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Remote code execution in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Dynamics NAV allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. Microsoft identifies the affected locus only as the NAVRecordState state and has not disclosed the unsafe operation performed on untrusted input. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and user interaction, after which attacker-controlled code runs in the affected application context.
