Unauthenticated feature restriction bypass via WebDisk UAPI
Published Mar 17, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Missing authorization in cPanel before 84.0.20 allows remote attackers to bypass feature and demo-account restrictions through WebDisk UAPI calls. The WebDisk UAPI accepts calls without enforcing the restrictions assigned to the requested feature or demo account. No public vendor material identifies the affected functions; successful calls permit only the restricted account or feature operations exposed by that API.
