Private namespace disclosure via unchecked feedback endpoint
Published Mar 13, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information disclosure in GitLab EE 11.6 through 12.8.1 allows remote attackers to expose a private project namespace. The vulnerability_feedback endpoint fails to apply Security Dashboard visibility restrictions before returning security-feedback records. No authentication is required for affected public projects, while Guest access reaches the same data in private projects; disclosure is limited to security-related project information and the namespace.
