Uninitialized pointer access in Zephyr RTOS before 2.4.0 allows remote attackers controlling an UpdateHub server to crash devices. After parsing server-supplied JSON, updatehub_probe reads objects[1] without verifying that the output array contains two elements, treating uninitialized stack contents as pointers. UpdateHub must be enabled; after DTLS peer verification is fixed, exploitation requires control of the configured server and can also expose process memory.
