Improper input validation in Siemens SIMATIC RTLS Locating Manager before 2.12 allows local users to crash its application service. The configuration-import path processes specially crafted large files without handling their size safely; Siemens has not identified a parser or function. A low-privileged local user must be able to invoke the import function, and successful exploitation interrupts the application service rather than the host.
