Spoofing in Microsoft SharePoint allows remote authenticated users to alter content presented to another user via a crafted web request. SharePoint Foundation 2010 SP2 and 2013 SP1, SharePoint Enterprise Server 2016, and SharePoint Server 2019 fail to sanitize the request; Microsoft has not disclosed the affected request handler or exact transformation. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and interaction by another user, and the consequence is limited to spoofed content with confidentiality and integrity effects rather than service interruption.
